Step by step

1. Stage 01

   Pick – up from your hotel/riad at 8 o'clock heading to the Telouet Kasbah

   We will pick you up from your accommodation in Marrakech at 7:00 am.

   On our route, we will cross The High Atlas Mountains (2260m) with breathtaking views, making several stops for photos and a break.

2. Stage 02

   Visit to the Telouet Kasbah

   Our first visit will be to The Telouet Kasbah. This Kasbah belonged to The Glaoui family. Currently, The Kasbah is in ruins since the last Pasha (governor of the area) fled the country after the departure of The French, as he was allied with them.

   The Kasbah is located on the ancient caravan route of camel caravans carrying salt to Marrakech, where traders brought gold from Ghana, exotic bird feathers from Sudan, and endless legends from distant kingdoms.

3. Stage 03

   Following the route through the Ounila Valley

   We will then continue along the route through The Ounila Valley, making several stops along the way to admire the mountain landscape, caves, and Berber villages.

4. Stage 04

   Lunch and Visit to the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah

   We arrive at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we will have lunch and a guided tour.

   Ait Ben Haddou is considered a Ksar, a walled group of buildings that contains several Kasbahs. The material used in its construction is adobe, the same color as the surrounding mountains. Its economic significance also comes from the caravans that crossed the desert.

   Currently, it is inhabited by a few residents who live alongside tourists visiting this fortress, a setting for numerous films.

5. Stage 05

   Return to Marrakech in the afternoon

   Departure from Ait Ben Haddou at 4:00 pm to arrive in Marrakech around 7:30 pm, marking the end of our excursion to The Telouet and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbahs.
